At mistral Group, building homes is just one part of our story
The heart of who we are is rooted in bringing people together, creating moments that spark connection, and celebrating the communities we’re proud to be part of.
That’s why we launched mistral Events—a series of gatherings designed to bring neighbours together and strengthen the sense of community across Brighton, Cobourg, and surrounding areas.
On Friday, November 21, we hosted one of our favourite celebrations of the year: the mistral Christmas Tree Lighting & Turkey Giveaway, held just outside Brighton Active Living at 9 Rundle Lane.
An Evening Filled with Warmth, Light and Laughter
Despite the crisp November air, the event couldn’t have been more heartwarming. Families, friends, and neighbours gathered to kick off the holiday season together. Guests enjoyed fresh pizza, hot chocolate, and the cheerful glow of holiday lights. When the tree lit up for the first time, the entire crowd joined in a moment of celebration—one that perfectly captured what community truly means.
And because no holiday gathering is complete without giving back, the first 30 attendees received a free turkey, just in time for the season. Any remaining turkeys were donated to our local food bank, ensuring that more families across Brighton could enjoy a holiday meal.
(And don’t worry—this event was nothing like the iconic “turkey drop” from the 1978 WKRP in Cincinnati episode. Ours stayed firmly on the ground.)
